About Ready Player Me Punks
Ready Player Me Punks is our genesis NFT drop. We are paying our respects to the legends of the industry that kickstarted a revolution.
CryptoPunk NFT owners can generate a unique 3D avatar version of their Punk that they can use across the metaverse and in the Ready Player Me network. We give Punks a new dimension and make them usable in 3D virtual worlds. Our goal is to create real interoperability of avatars and NFTs.
50% of the revenue generated from the drop and the royalties will be distributed to game and app developers in the Ready Player Me network - based on where the Punks NFTs are used. This is how we can support the building of a better and more interoperable metaverse for everyone involved.

About Ready Player Me
Ready Player Me is a cross-game avatar platform for the metaverse. We give users a portable 3D avatar that can be used in 1000+ supported games and apps. For developers, we offer a plug-and-play avatar system so they wouldn't have to build their own. Our goal is to create an avatar standard and to build a more connected and interoperable metaverse.
Ready Player Me has raised $16.5M from gmoney, Niftynaut, Sebastien Borget (Co-Founder of Sandbox), Taavet Hinrikus (Co-Founder of Wise), Sten Tamkivi (Co-Founder of Teleport, Flamingo DAO member), Tom Preston-Werner (Co-Founder of Github), Somnium Space, and Samsung Next among many others.
We are soon to be an 80-person team spread all over the world. Before Ready Player Me, we spent 7 years building custom avatar systems for Tencent, Huawei, HTC, Wargaming, and Verizon among many others.
